Brian Ellis &
Phil Calvano

Brian Ellis and Phil Calvano are licensed real estate professionals specialized in management of new residential sales, marketing and development planning throughout the greater Toronto region and beyond.

Ellis and Calvano are co-owners and directors of New Home Sales and Marketing Group and Florida Home Finders, representing developments across the region and Florida. Ellis and Calvano developed strategic plans for developments, sourcing lands, creating products to both satisfy existing market needs and creating new markets in primary and secondary locations.  Specializing in developing marketing and sales programs which created destination neighbourhoods. Together, they have always been visionaries in discerning opportunities with the development of communities within the Greater Toronto region and beyond.

Ellis and his Wife of 46 years have three children and seven grandchildren. Calvano and his Wife of 40 years have two children and three grandchildren. Their Family is the centre of their life and their motivation for charity work, developing a sustained development to showcase the latest in environmental technologies and to leave behind a legacy by developing a sustainable Health and Wellness Community to benefit many thousands of visitors and have the public interact, explore and enjoy nature.

In 2014, Ellis and Calvano became partners in the purchase of the former Talisman Ski Resort. After much analysis and review of the site, the team is redeveloping the Talisman resort from a former family-oriented ski resort to a world class Nordic Spa built around a Health and Wellness Community, including a convention centre and 5 star hotel. This development is strategically located under 2 hours from more than eight million people and will fill a need within the growing health and wellness industry.

Together, the team have hosted and been directly involved with the Mudmoiselle, run for Cancer at the Talisman. Even though the resort is not open for business yet, the run generated over $400,000.00 for the fight against Breast Cancer. The Talisman Team plan to expand on the Mud Run success to include other charity events making the Talisman a centre for Health, Wellness and Community involvement. The Talisman Resort, with the planned improvements including the latest in Green Energy Technology, will become one of the largest Nordic Spa’s in North America and a dynamic health and wellness community.

The draw to the Talisman will be a short drive to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul by staying and playing in nature.

PLANNER

KLM Planning Partners Inc. is a planning and design consulting firm that was established in 1988 to provide land use planning and design services to clients across the GTA, the GGH and the Province of Ontario. The firm is comprised of approximately twenty full time staff with expertise in a wide range of planning and design matters.

LANDSCAPE

Schollen & Company Inc. is an award-winning Landscape Architecture firm and leader in the innovative design of parks, urban spaces, trails and the implementation of Low Impact Development strategies and technologies. The firm has a proven record of efficient project management and effective public facilitation and consultation. The firm inspires community involvement through the production of high quality, technically accurate yet easily understandable graphics combined with an informal, friendly consultation style. The strength of the firm lies in its ability to integrate practical and technical expertise with aesthetic, contextual, imaginative and inspired design thought.

Headquartered in Toronto, the Studio assists clients locally and internationally to create projects where art becomes life.

TRANSPORTATION

Founded in 1998, Paradigm is a private incorporated company in the Province of Ontario with an office in Cambridge. We hold a Certificate of Authorization from Professional Engineers Ontario and are proud members of the Transportation Association of Canada. Paradigm is Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) RAQS registered in all transportation planning and traffic engineering specialties.
